Raley Elected National Vice President
Elections were held Saturday afternoon July 28, 2007 for NHSRA offices just prior to the start of the finals. The elections are voted on by a slate of 4 youth voting delegates from each of the states plus the Canadian provinces.
With the help of a strong contingency of WSHSRA campaign supporters, many of the parents, plus Susie Hart our National director she was successful in winning the election against 5 other candidates from around the nation.
She just returned home from 4 days of orientation in Denver at the NHSRA headquarters. She will be traveling to several events across the nation this next year such as the National FFA convention in Indiana and the NFR at Las Vegas, plus attending the mid-winter NSHRA conferences. Her responsibilities will be to help promote the growth and value of NHSRA to its future members, existing constituents, and sponsors. Additionally, she will help shape the future goals and direction of NHSRA. All three officers, President, Vice President, Secretary and National Queen also serve as voting members of the National Board of Directors.
This is a great opportunity for Raley, to grow and learn leadership skills. She is excited to represent the State of Washington on a National level and is encouraging all members to bring any ideas to her for presentation to the NHSRA board of directors.

Hey Everybody,
Every day it is getting closer, and before we know it rodeo season will be upon us. It feels so good to be back out in the arena again, and I’m working hard to get my horses back in shape. It was a long winter!
Knowing that winter sports just came to an end, I would love to congratulate Conner Treat on winning his 2nd consecutive Wrestling State Championship. Also congrats to those who played basketball and made it to state this year! It’s awesome to know we have athletes who compete in different sports other than rodeo.
Always remember, keep a good attitude, stay strong. If you work hard enough you will reach your goals and your dreams will come true.
